June 2009: Hannah Hudson has joined the lab as a summer intern as a part of the Virginia Tech Bioengineering and Bioinformatics Summer Institute funded by the NIH and NSF. Hannah is a junior in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University, and will work on the development of a powered ankle orthotic to be used in subsequent research projects. |

March 2009: ESM undergraduate student Kellen Shain was awarded a Summer Internship with Nike. He will be working at Nike headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon for 10 weeks on three separate projects centered around team sports equipment. |
